# AI Incident Law

> Open, curated public-record corpus of legal and regulatory matters involving AI-related incidents, failures, and harms. Searchable by humans and agents. Code MIT, dataset CC BY 4.0. Stewarded by PAICE.work PBC. This is a public-record reference, not legal advice.

Each record resolves to a primary or stable secondary public source. Records carry their own `last_verified_date` / `last_checked_date`; check it before presenting a record as current. The dataset is curated for source quality over volume, not crawled.
